EXPLORE MALTA

eXplore Malta is a mobile app, developed by the Government of Malta, that utilises Bluetooth beacons to identify nearby points of interest for users. I was tasked with modernising both the logo and the app interface to create a more user-friendly and visually appealing experience.

About David Grech

Designer & developer

Portrait of David Grech

A designer’s eye.
A developer’s mind.

I’ve always loved taking an idea and turning it into something real.

My career began in design, but I was never content to stop at how something looked. Learning development meant I could take each project all the way from the first sketch to the finished website.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve created distinctive brands and websites for local businesses and international companies across Europe and the USA.

Why work with me?

ONE PERSON.
THE FULL
PICTURE.

When you work with me, you work with me directly, from our first conversation to launch and beyond.

There are no account managers, unnecessary handovers or layers of communication. You get straightforward advice, quicker decisions and one person who understands the full picture. As both a designer and developer, I can carry one clear vision through every stage of your project.

Always looking ahead.

I’m always learning and looking ahead, exploring new design approaches, development tools and advances in search and AI. This means my clients benefit from thoughtful, well-made work that performs today and is prepared for where technology is heading next.

Fun facts about me

FAMILY.
MUSIC.
COFFEE.

When I am away from the screen, you will usually find me making music, brewing a good cup of coffee and enjoying life with my wife and daughter.
